Regattas

During the dragon boating season there are several regattas that form part of the Dragon Boat NSW Club Competition. There are five regattas, which lead up to the State Championships and the fun and popular Australian Championships, which are held in a different capital city.

All Mavericks Dragon Boat members are invited to attend the State Championships and the Australian Championships.

The regattas are held in different places around the wider NSW area, including the Olympic Regatta Centre at Penrith. Check out our Calendar for the other locations.

There are also many social regattas during the season which you are welcome to attend. As a Club we also provide volunteers for regattas and other events. As a community organisation, it is important that everyone provides help to Dragon Boats NSW by volunteering, to keep the sport going.
