The Mavericks Dragon Boat Club is a Sydney based club that trains out of Bank St, Pyrmont. Our motto is that to get the PH balance right you need to Paddle Hard and Party Hard! We are a fun and friendly club always looking for new paddlers because Dragon Boating is one sport where we find 'the more the merrier'. The Mavericks are running beginner dragon boating courses for new paddlers on Saturday mornings in Winter . It's a great way to spend a morning, cruising around Sydney Harbour at Pyrmont and meeting new people! The Mavericks has paddlers of all levels of ability from casual/novice/fun paddlers to serious top level Australian representatives. So whatever you are looking for, we can help you. Winter is a great time to start, its casual and fun and you'll learn a lot.

The Mavericks are keen to focus on the social side of things with regular activities.There are also a number of regattas during the year which are great days out in the sun, usually followed by a few beverages at a local hotel. And there are also weekends away to Canberra and to Wyong regattas!
